The splitter is housed in a compact ABS box or LGX cassette (for rack mounting) with 1 input and 4 output connectors. This configuration eliminates field splicing and allows for rapid, error-free installation. Typical connector types are SC/APC (green) for GPON compatibility or SC/UPC (blue) for enterprise networks. The splitter is fully tested for insertion loss (≤7.5 dB), uniformity, and return loss (≥55 dB for APC). The housing includes mounting brackets for wall, pole, or rack installation. This plug-and-play splitter is the standard for many FTTH rollouts, reducing labor costs and improving consistency.
