Dome-style fiber optic splice enclosure for up to 12 fiber splices, designed for aerial, pedestal, or below-grade mounting. The domed shape provides excellent mechanical strength and prevents water pooling on top during rain or condensation. The enclosure is constructed from high-impact polymer (polypropylene or ABS) with UV stabilizers for long-term outdoor service. The IP68 rating (tested to 1.5m water depth for 72 hours) ensures protection against permanent submersion in flooded vaults or direct burial. The enclosure features 2–4 cable entry ports, available with heat-shrink sealing (for permanent, watertight installations) or mechanical grommets (for re-enterable applications). Inside, splice trays (typically 1–2 trays, each holding 12 splices) provide organized fiber routing with clear covers and identification labels. The dome enclosure is commonly used for FTTH distribution, drop cable splicing, and network repair points. The base plate includes mounting brackets for pole straps or wall anchors.
