High-capacity dome or inline splice enclosure for up to 96 fibers, designed for backbone and feeder cable splicing in central offices, large pedestals, and outside plant aggregation points. This enclosure accommodates 8 splice trays (12 splices each) or 4 trays of 24 splices, providing substantial splice capacity in a manageable footprint. The 6–8 cable entry ports support multiple large-diameter cables (up to 35mm each), allowing complex splice configurations such as 96-core backbone splicing to 4x 24-core distribution cables. The reinforced polymer construction (often fiber-filled) provides exceptional mechanical strength for aerial, vault, or direct-burial applications. The IP68 rating is verified by independent testing. Inside, the fiber routing is carefully engineered with separate channels for incoming and outgoing fibers, bend radius limiters (≥40mm), and splice tray identification labels. Grounding bars are provided for metallic cable components and armor continuity. This enclosure is a standard component in metropolitan fiber networks and long-haul splice points.
