These professional cable stripping tools are engineered for precision removal of outer sheathing from fiber optic, coaxial, and electrical cables without damaging internal conductors or fibers. The adjustable depth control (0–3mm in 0.1mm increments) allows the user to set the blade penetration precisely to the jacket thickness, preventing nicks in the underlying insulation or fiber coating. The tool accommodates cable diameters from 3mm (small patch cords) to 25mm (large riser or outside plant cables). The replaceable hardened steel blade (carbide or tool steel) maintains a sharp edge for hundreds of strips and can be rotated or flipped to expose fresh cutting surfaces. Three stripping modes are supported: ring cut (circumferential score for jacket removal), slit cut (longitudinal cut along the cable axis), and spiral cut (for removing long sections of jacket). The body is constructed from lightweight aluminum (anodized) or reinforced plastic (glass-filled nylon), with ergonomic grips and a locking mechanism for consistent depth settings. Ideal for field technicians, central office splicers, and outside plant crews.
