The PVC jacket offers flexibility for routing around corners and through office furniture while providing basic protection against minor abrasion and environmental factors typical in indoor settings.

Featuring standard RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts (50µ") for reliable connectivity and corrosion resistance. The cable supports 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX Ethernet standards, making it suitable for connecting computers, printers, network switches, routers, and other network devices in home and small office environments. While not rated for gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T), Cat 5 cables can sometimes support gigabit speeds over shorter distances (up to 50 meters) depending on cable quality and installation conditions, though performance is not guaranteed.
