This rackmountable switch (1U, 19-inch) includes rack ears for standard rack installation, or can be used on a desktop. It features a non-blocking switching capacity of 3.2 Gbps, ensuring wire-speed performance across all 16 ports. All ports support Auto-MDI/MDIX (no crossover cables needed) and auto-negotiation. IEEE 802.3x flow control prevents packet loss under heavy traffic. The switch includes a built-in power supply (internal) and a fan for cooling (some models are fanless). Energy Efficient Ethernet reduces power consumption on idle ports. This switch is ideal for expanding a business LAN, connecting IP cameras (SD), or building a classroom network.
