Empty Fiber Access Terminal (FAT) with 1 input port and 4 output ports, designed for custom field configuration and splicing. The terminal is delivered without pre-installed adapters, splitters, or pigtails, allowing the installer to configure the exact components required for each deployment. This flexibility is valuable for custom FTTH designs, legacy network upgrades, or when using proprietary components. The enclosure is made of UV-resistant ABS or polycarbonate and is rated IP65 or IP68 (model dependent) for outdoor pole or wall mounting. Inside, the FAT includes a splice tray holder, cable tie-down points, and a grounding bar. The 1 input port typically accepts a feeder cable (up to 12mm diameter), and the 4 output ports accept drop cables (5–8mm). The empty FAT is also ideal for stocking spare units that can be configured on demand, reducing inventory complexity.
