Half Body Belt (Harness)

Engineered for linemen, tower technicians, and utility workers, this professional half-body work positioning belt provides essential lumbar support and equipment attachment points while keeping the upper body unrestricted for climbing and maneuvering. The belt is ideal for scenarios where a full harness would be overly restrictive—such as pole-top work, transformer maintenance, or tower climbing with frequent repositioning. The high-tenacity nylon webbing forms the core structure, reinforced with abrasion-resistant leather pads at high-wear zones, including the back pad and tool loop attachments. A quick-release buckle enables emergency doffing, while the multiple tool loops and three D-rings (two side, one rear) accommodate tool holsters, pouches, and positioning lanyards. The wide 75–100mm profile distributes pressure evenly across the lower back and hips, reducing fatigue during extended work sessions. Meets or exceeds OSHA fall restraint requirements for positioning belt systems.

  • Material: High-tenacity nylon webbing (polyester core) with leather reinforcement panels
  • Width: 75–100 mm (3–4 inches) — ergonomic load distribution
  • Weight Capacity: 150 kg (330 lbs) — meets ANSI Z359 specifications
  • D-rings: 2 side (for positioning lanyards), 1 rear (for backup fall arrest or tool lanyard)
  • Buckle: Tongue-style (field-proven) or quick-connect (one-handed operation)
  • Padding: Closed-cell foam, 10mm thick, with moisture-wicking cover
  • Tool Loops: 4 to 6 stitched loops with rivet reinforcement
  • Standards: OSHA 1926.959, ASTM F887, ANSI Z359.6 (positioning)
