The MikroTik RB5009 is a next-generation router featuring a quad-core ARM 1.4GHz 64-bit CPU, 1GB RAM, and 1GB NAND storage. It includes 7 Gigabit Ethernet ports (PoE-out on select ports), 1 SFP+ cage (10G), and a compact, fanless metal case. The RB5009 is designed for high-performance routing in small to medium businesses, ISP customer-premises equipment (CPE), and advanced home networks. RouterOS v7 comes pre-installed, offering advanced features such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN, WireGuard VPN, and ZeroTier. The RB5009 can be mounted on a wall, desktop, or with optional rackmount kit. With its small footprint and powerful performance, it bridges the gap between home routers and enterprise equipment.
