The PA 1500 heavy-duty tension clamp is rated for 1,500 kg working load, making it suitable for large-span aerial fiber optic cables (up to 500+ meter spans) and heavy messenger wires used in backbone distribution networks. The clamp features an enhanced grip surface with deeper serrations and a larger cable contact area compared to lower-rated models, ensuring secure holding under high vibration and wind-induced motion. The double-bolt securing mechanism provides redundant clamping force and allows for fine tension adjustment during installation. The heavy-gauge galvanized steel construction—using thicker base material and heavier zinc coating—resists corrosion even in coastal or industrial environments. The PA 1500 is commonly deployed on transmission poles, river crossings, and mountainous terrain where cable tension forces exceed standard clamp capacities. The clamp includes neoprene grip liners to protect the cable jacket while maintaining high coefficient of friction.
