The PA 3000 represents the maximum-capacity tension clamp in the PA series, rated for a 3,000 kg working load—suitable for the most demanding high-tension utility applications. This clamp is designed for heavy messenger wires on long-haul transmission lines, submarine cable landings where cable exits the ocean and ascends a cliff, and high-tension utility guy wires supporting heavy poles and towers. The six-bolt tension distribution system ensures that compressive forces are spread evenly across a large area of the cable, minimizing stress concentrations and preserving fiber integrity in OPGW or ADSS cables. The clamp body is fabricated from heavy-duty galvanized steel with stainless steel hardware (bolts, washers, nuts) to prevent galling and corrosion in marine environments. The grip liners are made from a specialized high-friction elastomer formulated for extreme pressure and wide temperature ranges (-40°C to +85°C). Each PA 3000 is proof-loaded to 150% of rated capacity before shipment and includes a test certificate. Designed for use by utility engineers and specialized line crews on critical infrastructure.
