Optical power meter with built-in rechargeable lithium battery, designed for extended field operation without the need to purchase or carry disposable batteries. The Li-ion battery (USB-C rechargeable) provides 50+ hours of continuous operation on a single charge, and the meter can be charged from any USB power source: laptop, car charger, power bank, or AC adapter. The meter retains all features of standard power meters: 6–8 calibrated wavelengths, -70 to +10 dBm measurement range, interchangeable connector adapters, and 0.01dB resolution. Some rechargeable models also include internal data storage for up to 10,000 readings with time stamps, accessible via USB-C for report generation. The backlit LCD automatically adjusts brightness based on ambient light (select models). The rechargeable power meter is preferred by professional installation crews who use the tool daily, eliminating the environmental waste and recurring cost of disposable batteries. The unit includes a protective rubber boot for drop resistance and a magnetic holder for hands-free operation on metal racks.
