SC/UPC Pigtails
Back
Product Overview
Single mode SC/UPC fiber pigtail — a factory-terminated SC/UPC connector on one end, with the other end stripped and cleaved ready for field splicing. The pigtail is used to terminate field cables by splicing the pigtail's bare fiber to the field cable fiber, then protecting the splice with a heat-shrink sleeve. The connector features a blue housing (UPC polish) and a 2.5mm ceramic ferrule for precision alignment. The fiber type is bend-insensitive G.657.A2 (9/125μm) with 900μm tight buffer for easy handling.

Standard length is 1m, but 1.5m, 2m, and custom lengths are available. Each pigtail is factory tested for insertion loss (≤0.2 dB) and return loss (≥50 dB), with test results provided. These pigtails are essential for FTTH termination, patch panel construction, and repair kits.
