The Tenda 5-Port Fast Ethernet Switch (model S105) is a compact, unmanaged switch offering five 10/100 Mbps ports for basic home and small office networking. It is plug-and-play with no configuration required. All ports support Auto-MDI/MDIX (crossover detection) and auto-negotiation. The switch uses store-and-forward switching with a non-blocking 1.0 Gbps switching capacity. The fanless plastic housing ensures silent operation, making it suitable for desktops, small network closets, or wall-mount installations. Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) reduces power consumption on idle ports. This switch is an affordable solution for expanding a small network to add a few extra devices such as computers, printers, or IP cameras (SD quality). Tenda also offers a PoE version (S105P) with 4 PoE ports for powering IP cameras or VoIP phones.
