The Tenda OAP1200 is a dual-band AC1200 outdoor access point designed for affordable outdoor Wi-Fi coverage in small to medium areas such as courtyards, parking lots, and building exteriors. It delivers combined speeds of up to 1200 Mbps (300 Mbps on 2.4GHz + 867 Mbps on 5GHz) with 2x2 MIMO. The IP65-rated enclosure protects against dust and water jets, with an operating temperature range of -30°C to +70°C. The OAP1200 includes a Gigabit Ethernet port with 802.3af PoE support and external RP-SMA antenna connectors for optional high-gain antennas. It supports multiple SSIDs, VLAN tagging, and client isolation. The access point can be managed via Tenda's web interface or as a standalone AP. Ideal for small businesses, schools, and public outdoor areas requiring basic dual-band coverage.
