Ubiquiti PoE (Power over Ethernet) adapters are used to power Ubiquiti devices such as access points, CPEs, cameras, and switches when a PoE-enabled switch is not available. Ubiquiti primarily offers two types: 48V 802.3af/at standard PoE injectors (compatible with UniFi APs, UniFi switches, and other 802.3af/at devices) and 24V passive PoE injectors (used for airMAX, airCube, and older UniFi devices). The 48V adapters typically provide up to 15.4W (802.3af) or 30W (802.3at), while 24V passive adapters provide power on unused pins (4,5+ / 7,8-) with various power ratings (12W, 24W, 48W). Ubiquiti PoE adapters include surge protection and are housed in compact, wall-mountable enclosures. Always verify device requirements before selecting an adapter—using the wrong voltage can damage equipment.
