The Ubiquiti UniFi U7-LR is a cutting-edge Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) access point designed for ultra-high-density environments requiring extreme throughput and low latency. It supports tri-band operation (2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz) with advanced features including 320MHz channel bandwidth, 4096-QAM modulation, and Multi-Link Operation (MLO). The U7-LR delivers aggregated speeds of up to 10.7 Gbps, making it ideal for 8K/16K streaming, AR/VR applications, and high-performance enterprise networks. The long-range design incorporates high-gain antennas and beamforming technology to extend coverage while maintaining throughput. It includes a 2.5GbE uplink port (PoE+ powered) to eliminate bottlenecks, and a secondary 1GbE port for bridging. The U7-LR is backward compatible with Wi-Fi 6/5/4 devices and is managed by the UniFi Network Controller or UniFi OS console. Wi-Fi 7 introduces features such as preamble puncturing, multi-resource unit (MRU), and 16 spatial streams, ensuring future-proof performance for the most demanding wireless environments.
