Cat5 Indoor UTP Cable (PVC Riser Rated)

Cat5 indoor UTP (unshielded twisted pair) cable is designed for general-purpose 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet installations within buildings. The cable consists of 4 twisted pairs (8 solid copper conductors) with a PVC (polyvinyl chloride) riser-rated jacket, suitable for vertical runs between floors (riser spaces) and general indoor use. The twisted pair construction reduces crosstalk (NEXT) and electromagnetic interference, while the PVC jacket provides flexibility for easy pulling and termination. This cable is commonly used for residential networking, small office LANs, and legacy system upgrades. It is not rated for plenum spaces (air handling ducts) — use plenum-rated cable for those applications. The cable is available in 305m (1000 ft) boxes, with solid copper conductors (pure copper, not CCA) for compliance with TIA standards. Suitable for T568A and T568B termination.
