Cat6 outdoor UTP (unshielded twisted pair) cable is designed for outdoor installations where electromagnetic interference is minimal, but environmental protection is critical. The cable features 4 twisted pairs of 23 AWG solid bare copper conductors (or CCA for budget options) with a central cross separator to reduce crosstalk. The outer jacket is black UV-resistant polyethylene (PE), which resists moisture, sunlight, and temperature extremes. This cable is suitable for direct burial (underground) or aerial lashing (with separate messenger wire). The solid PE jacket is non-porous and water-resistant, but unlike shielded outdoor cable, it does not provide EMI protection. The cable supports Gigabit Ethernet up to 100 meters and is suitable for outdoor security cameras, access points, and building-to-building links where shielding is not required. Available in 305m (1000 ft) lengths.
