The Ubiquiti PowerBeam AC Gen2 (PBE-5AC-Gen2) is a high-gain 5GHz AC point-to-point (PtP) bridge designed for long-distance, high-throughput links. It features a 25-29dBi integrated dish antenna (model dependent) and the airMAX ac chipset, delivering real TCP/IP throughput of up to 450+ Mbps over distances up to 15-20 km (line-of-sight). The PowerBeam AC Gen2 includes a dedicated Bluetooth radio for easy alignment using the Ubiquiti app, a Gigabit Ethernet port with 24V passive PoE, and a redesigned mounting bracket for precise alignment. The integrated dish design focuses the RF energy into a very narrow beam, minimizing interference and maximizing link distance. Managed via airOS web interface or UNMS, it offers spectrum analysis, alignment tools, and airMAX TDMA protocol. Ideal for WISP backhaul, long-distance building links, and rural connectivity.
