Ubiquiti NanoStation Loco M2 — 2.4GHz N300 CPE
The Ubiquiti NanoStation Loco M2 (NSM2) is a compact, low-cost 2.4GHz airMAX M-series CPE designed for short-range PtP and PtMP applications where 2.4GHz is required for better foliage penetration. It features an integrated 8dBi directional antenna and delivers real TCP/IP throughput of up to 100-150 Mbps (airMAX M series). The Loco M2 is commonly used as a WISP subscriber CPE or for short building-to-building links (up to 2-3 km). It includes one Fast Ethernet port with 24V passive PoE support and is managed via airOS M web interface. The 2.4GHz band offers better penetration through trees and walls compared to 5GHz, but is more prone to interference. Ideal for rural WISP deployments, short-range links requiring foliage penetration, and legacy network upgrades.
